Life moves on even if you are standing still. It has taken me some time to adjust to this new setting in Louisville, Kentucky. Everything I have ever known is located in the most beautiful coastal city in the world. Charleston, SC. No, I will not get over my birthplace. As I was saying, I am finally kind of getting a grip on life here and life after here. It is good to know where you are moving towards. It is also good to have a steady job unlike when I was waiting tables. I feel that it makes a man feel more like a man to have a good job and work with his hands.
In my relationship with God, I am trying to more fully accept His grace everyday. My sin seems to really weigh me down a lot of the time. I am starting to open myself up more to people I know. I haven't had many close friends since I have been here and then again some of them have left school (Adam, Jeffrey, and Michael).
It is also exciting to know that I could be going overseas for a while next summer (2007). School is a good time to learn and grow but it feels good to be out in the world full-time as well.
